Brexit Costs Another Prime Minister

UK prime minister -Theresa May – has confirmed her resignation today following months of turmoil over Brexit. She confirmed she will quit as leader of the conservatives on 7th June and remain as prime minister until a new leader is elected.
In today’s statement, she said she had done her best to deliver Brexit and it was a matter of “deep regret” that she had been unable to do so.
She becomes the second conservative prime minister to resign since the nation voted to leave the EU almost three years ago. David Cameron was the first to quit immediately following the vote.
Brexit debates continue to roll and we still remain uncertain of the outcome. For more information, please visit our Brexit page HERE.
