Uniserve, in partnership with Dayes Group, has been shortlisted for the Supply Chain Operations Award – Transformation Category at the Supply Chain Excellence Awards 2026.

The recognition celebrates a partnership spanning more than 20 years. Over that time, the relationship has evolved from international freight management into a fully integrated end-to-end supply chain solution. Together, Uniserve and Dayes have delivered measurable improvements across freight management, warehousing, transport, fulfilment and supply chain visibility. These improvements have helped Dayes support continued business growth.

Delivering Measurable Results

As Dayes expanded its global sourcing network, Uniserve worked closely with the business to simplify increasingly complex supply chain operations. The partnership optimised freight consolidation, improved carrier management and introduced smarter planning. These changes reduced freight costs while enhancing visibility and operational control.

The implementation of One World, a GB Global company supply chain platform, has further transformed operations. The platform provides real-time visibility across purchase orders, suppliers and shipments.

Today, the solution supports the management of a high volume of purchase orders. It also coordinates activity across an extensive global supplier network. Visibility over hundreds of container movements each year enables more proactive decision-making and reduces manual administration.

Supporting Future Growth

A major milestone came with the successful migration of Dayes’ warehouse operation into Uniserve’s Felixstowe Mega Distribution Centre. Completed without disrupting customer service, the transition created a modern, scalable logistics platform capable of supporting future growth while achieving an impressive 99.79% warehouse picking accuracy.

The partnership continues to evolve through expanded logistics services, technology integration and sustainability initiatives, including electric vehicle transport between Felixstowe Port and the distribution centre.
