This week has been very exciting for Uniserve Group, as the first round of learners have started the much sought after Supply Chain Leadership Professional Degree Apprenticeship. The learners were enrolled after the standard for the degree was approved by the ‘Institute of Apprenticeships’ in a monumental week for the Supply Chain Academy.

Uniserve Group, supported by the Supply Chain Academy and Leeds Trinity University, chaired the employer’s group that have driven and created the standard for this qualification. The trailblazer group included some of the UK’s biggest supply chain leaders, as well as many SME’s, universities, colleges and supply chain professional bodies.

Paul Stone – Uniserve Group HR Director (pictured above) – commented “Its great to see our collective efforts coming to fruition for both businesses and individuals. Our difficult goal has always been to bring a much needed standard, backed by qualifications, to a very diverse industry. Through the degree apprenticeship we believe we have made a major step in the right direction”.
