Apprentice Scheme Continues to Shine

Three more employees have completed their initial apprenticeships in the past month, with three more due to complete in the next couple of weeks. Hopefully, these achievements will lead them towards achieving great things within the group.
Our apprenticeship scheme was recently redesigned, leading to us being shortlisted for two major supply chain awards – the winners of which will be announced in November and December.
The scheme also initiated our drive to create the world’s first degree apprenticeship in supply chain management, which launched this year.
Uniserve Group, supported by the Supply Chain Academy and Leeds Trinity University, led the Trailblazer group that created the standard for this qualification.
The group included some of the UK’s biggest supply chain employers, as well as many SME’s, universities, colleges and supply chain professional bodies.
Paul Stone – Uniserve HR Director and Trailblazer Chair – commented “We set out to provide a framework for attracting and developing Uniserve supply chain professionals of the future, which was intrinsically linked to professional qualifications. We are very pleased with the progress so far and are continuing to invest in this program substantially”
“I would like to take this opportunity to personally congratulate Michael, Rebecca, Eleana, Aaron, Jack and Rosie for their progress and achievements so far”
Details of the Degree Apprenticeship can be found on our careers page HERE, for further information on a Uniserve career please call 01708 259400 or email hr@ugroup.co.uk.
