20 Years Recognised By GOSH

Uniserve Group Managing Director – Iain Liddell – attended Great Ormond Street Hospital’s ‘Better Together Celebration’ this week, and was delighted and surprised to be presented with an award to recognise 20 years of continued support and donations.
Iain and wife Fiona, joined over 100 other guests at the hospital for the fifth annual event, which is held to thank the incredible efforts of businesses in supporting the children’s hospital and charity.
The award was presented by TV host, and former GOSH patient Alex Brooker. Alex was treated by GOSH throughout his childhood and shared the impact his treatment has had on his life.
Other businesses recognised for their support included The Walt Disney Company, Royal Bank of Canada, Delta Airlines, Dalatel Hotels, Blackrock and Butlins.

Iain commented “Great Ormond Street Hospital is an incredible place with incredible people doing ground breaking work for children, we are so proud and privileged to be associated with such a fantastic charity. It was a bit of a surprise that we have been involved with GOSH for 20 years as it has gone so quickly and we look forward to supporting them for many more years to come”.
“Uniserve support a variety of charities and we encourage fund raising throughout our business and industry . However it is especially satisfying to see the difference GOSH make to children lives”.
Uniserve are also an avid promoter of the OSCAR campaign – The Ocean and Shipping Community Advancing Children’s Health and Research.
Since its inception in 2011, OSCAR has raised over £1.65 million helping to refurbish vital facilities at the hospital and funding pioneering research into childhood cancers and immune diseases. Find out more HERE.

“Our partners’ support enables us to fund vital paediatric research, state of the art equipment, support services and the rebuilding of old, cramped wards so we can treat more patients”.
“A huge thank you to everyone involved in our Corporate Partnerships. You have played a pivotal role in GOSH’s history and countless seriously ill children now and in the future will benefit from your support”.
