Uniserve has been awarded an EcoVadis Silver Medal in its June 2026 assessment, recognising its continued commitment to sustainability and responsible business practices.
With an improved overall score of 73/100, Uniserve is now ranked within the top 15% of companies assessed globally by EcoVadis, one of the world’s most trusted providers of business sustainability ratings.
The assessment reflects significant progress across several key areas, with the most notable improvement in Sustainable Procurement, alongside strengthened performance in ethics through enhanced policies and governance. Uniserve also achieved full marks for its Labour & Human Rights measures. This recognises Uniserve’s commitment to supporting employees and maintaining high workplace standards.
Rebekah Stiff, Sustainability Manager at Uniserve, said: “We’re delighted to have achieved an EcoVadis Silver Medal and improved our overall score to 73/100. Our biggest gains have come through Sustainable Procurement, alongside stronger Ethics performance and full marks for Labour & Human Rights measures. While we’re proud of this achievement, we’re focused on continuing to work with our customers and partners to drive even greater progress.”
Embedding sustainability
A key contributor to this year’s result has been the work undertaken by the Group Procurement team to embed sustainability throughout the procurement process.
David Featherstone, Head of Procurement, commented: “We’re particularly pleased to see our Sustainable Procurement score increase from 47 to 69. Sustainability is now embedded throughout our procurement lifecycle, helping us manage risk, strengthen supplier relationships and deliver long-term value. Recognition from EcoVadis reflects the progress we’ve made together across the business and provides a strong platform for continued improvement.”
The EcoVadis assessment evaluates organisations across four key themes: Environment, Labour & Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement. Achieving a Silver Medal demonstrates Uniserve’s ongoing investment in responsible business practices and its commitment to creating sustainable value for customers, suppliers and wider stakeholders.
As sustainability continues to play an increasingly important role across global supply chains, Uniserve remains committed to building on this achievement through collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement.
