Uniserve Appoint New Group COO

The new position has been created to support the ongoing growth and build on the success of the UK’s largest independent logistics and global trade management provider.
Kim brings 34 year’s industry experience to the new role having held senior positions at MSAS, Fritz/UPS and Damco during a successful and varied career to date. His most recent appointment had been Global Head of Retail at Damco and he has been based in Asia for the past 11 years, specialising in supply chain management and forwarding services.
Kim commented “Having only worked for 3 companies in my career, moving to a new company was never going to be something I would take lightly. But joining Uniserve was a very easy decision to make.
Being part of a forward thinking global UK owned business, which is innovative and provides quick decision making in an ever-changing global market, gives me the opportunity to use my experience, and I am really excited at the growth strategy within the Uniserve Group”.

Uniserve Group Managing Director – Iain Liddell – added “This is an exciting appointment for us as we look to refresh and improve our operational platform now that the UK is moving into a new era of global trade.
While we operate across many markets, Kim’s additional knowledge of the retail sector, and his extensive experience throughout Asia, makes him a perfect fit for us and will no doubt provide further benefits to our many retail customers.
I would like to take the opportunity to publicly welcome Kim and wish him every success within our organisation as we prepare for a more Global Great Britain”.
