The Holding Centre Completed
Uniserve’s new container storage facility, The Holding Centre (THC) – formerly Plateau C – is now complete and ready for operation. The facility will provide container storage for new and existing customers at the Port of Felixstowe.
Spread over five acres, The Holding Centre is ideally located alongside Uniserve’s future Felixstowe development of the ‘Super DC’ (Distribution Centre) on the neighbouring 30 acre site. The building, with a 46,500 sqm footprint, is set to be 40 metres high and will include a bottling operation, general merchandise, chilled and frozen foods, clothing distribution and e-fulfilment operations.
The Holding Centre will be officially opened for business early next month.
