Your daily update for Felixstowe, Southampton and London Gateway Ports, with the latest news on road and weather conditions, port turnaround times and vessel arrivals.

Felixstowe Port

Road  One lane closed due to broken down van on A14 Eastbound from J22 to J23, traffic is coping well. Very slow traffic on A120 at Galley’s Corner. Queueing traffic due to earlier accident on M11 Northbound from J8 A120 (Bishops Stortford) to J9 (Saffron Walden), all lanes have been re-opened. Queueing traffic on A1114 Great Baddow Bypass inbound at the Army and Navy roundabout. Queueing traffic on A130 Northbound at A12 Chelmsford Bypass. Heavy traffic on A127 Southend Arterial Road Westbound before A1245 (Fairglen Interchange). Reports of heavy traffic due to traffic problem on A13 Stanford Le Hope Bypass London bound before A1014 The Manorway (Stanford-Le-Hope Turn Off).

Port – There is a high wind warning for today which may cause delays. Further operational information can be found here.

Vessel – MSC Rifaya (Working), OOCL Japan (Working), MSC Daisy (Working), CMA CGM Iskenderun (Working), TRF Partici (Inbound), JSP Mistral (Inbound), Maersk Surabaya (Inbound), Ever Govern (Inbound), Zapadnyy (Inbound), Cosco Indonesia (Inbound), MSC Diana (Inbound).

Weather – Port has issued a high wind weather warning for today between 08:00 and 14:00 hours. VBS Bookings have been restricted between these times. Delays are expected on inbound and out bound traffic.

Southampton Port

Road – Slow traffic due to accident on A31 Eastbound near B3073 (Canford Bottom Roundabout). Very slow traffic on A31 at A341 (Merley Roundabout). Usual slow traffic on A32 Fareham Road between Gosport and Fareham. Usual congestion on Eastern Road Northbound at A27 Roundabout. Usual slow traffic on A27 Chichester Bypass Eastbound from Fishbourne Roundabout to Portfield Roundabout. Slow traffic on A27 Chichester Road around and past Arundel.

Weather – No issues to report.

London Gateway Port

Road – Slow traffic on M25 clockwise from J2 A2 (Darenth Interchange) to J3 M20 (Swanley Interchange). M25 clockwise lane re-opened on exit slip road, broken down box van removed at J3 M20 (Swanley Interchange). Slow traffic on M25 clockwise between J5 M26 / A21 (Sevenoaks) and J6 A22 (Godstone). A217 Reigate Hill Southbound busy but moving from M25 J8 to the one-way system. Heavy traffic on M25 anticlockwise before J12 M3. Queueing traffic on A41 Southbound at M25 J20. Slow traffic on M25 anticlockwise between J21 M1 and J19 A41 (Watford). Usual slow traffic on A405 North Orbital Road between M1 J6 and B4630 Watford Road (Shell Roundabout).    

Port – Tilbury port have no VBS Booking’s until 11:00 this morning, this is causing delays to inbound and out bound traffic. Further operational information can be found here.
