Chinese New Year airfreight cut-off dates announced

As we approach the Chinese New Year and see an increase in air and sea freight, it’s vital you know the cut-offs, booking timelines and cargo receipt.
As a result of the ongoing Red Sea crisis, sea freight services are seeing extended transit times and schedule disruptions, therefore many are turning to air or multimodal solutions, such as air/sea. It’s important to know the dates and cut-offs for the upcoming holidays.
Chinese New Year runs from Saturday 10th February to Friday 16th February but booking dates and cut-off times vary by region. In Hong Kong, the holidays will run from Saturday 10th February to Tuesday 13th February, with local teams resuming work on Wednesday 14th February.
Due to the longer Chinese New Year holidays on the Mainland, trucking services into and out of Hong Kong will be affected over the longer period.
