Airfreight volumes to China are continuing to be driven by the demand of the e-commerce market, which was reflected in the growth of Uniserve’s air export volumes during 2017.

China continues to be the world’s largest and fastest growing e-commerce market, with its online retail sales outperfoming the United States by an additional 80%. Online sales now account for almost 15% of the Chinese domestic retail market.

Last year, Chinese courier company YTO Express Group purchased a majority shareholding in Uniserve’s long time partners – On Time – which provided us with integration into one of the largest logistic networks across Asia.
