US Storm Update

Ports in and around Houston have reopened in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey, despite ongoing reports of flooding and damage to roads and rail lines.
With one destructive storm now in the past, Texas are among many southern US states bracing themselves for any change in direction of the devastating Hurricane Irma.
At this point, Irma is not expected to pass directly through the Houston area and after leaving a trail of devastation in the Caribbean, it is on a direct path to Florida.
Extreme winds of up to 175mph and 20ft waves battered the Turks and Caicos Islands early on Friday, in what has been declared the Atlantic’s worst storm in history.
Large scale evacuations are already in place across the South Eastern region.
Florida, Georgia and South Carolina have declared a state of emergency, with ports and airports expected to be closed early next week.
Delays in the region are inevitable. Our customer service teams will continue to keep clients, affected by the storms, informed of any developments during next week.
