Gary Presents at BenchBuy

Commercial Director Gary Cobbing recently presented how Uniserve deliver value into end to end supply chains at the launch of the new Benchbuy club in London Bridge.
The Benchbuy club, an invite only club, has been formed to assist senior executives and business leaders in maximising value from joint purchasing potential. The members represent companies with a combined turnover exceeding £25 billion.
One of the main aims of the club, which is largely UK retail based, is to help members significantly reduce costs and be aware of market movements and opportunities on all business overheads and expenditure.
These events are class-leading with useful topical agendas across the entire supply chain; providing the very best insight from leading industry figures. Due to Uniserve’s unrivalled market share of the retail logistics sector, Gary was asked to present on logistics and supply chain.
He provided useful insight into buyer processes, through to order placement, vendor management, physical freight movement, technology and downstream processes; ultimately how Uniserve can help customers drive cost and time out of their supply chain.
Our retail division has an enviable track record supporting many of the UK’s leading retailers, as they seek a step change within their international supply chains. They provide a number of award-winning international products, including proven services from retail sourcing markets such as China, South Asia, South East Asia, The Americas and Europe, and a full range of warehousing and fulfilment solutions.
