Since the February start, building work on Uniserve’s Felixstowe development is now in full swing, with the completion of the first part of the project; Plateau C, expected this July.

Plateau C will see the installation of a container storage and HGV parking facility on 5 acres at Clickett Hill Road in Felixstowe, just outside the port fence and alongside the A14.

After 2 months of cut and fill, importing sub base materials to site and surface water installation, the concreting of the parking facility has recently started and surface drainage is now installed across the entire site, including a 127,000 litre petrol interceptor and 560m3 of attenuation.

Uniserve’s Felixstowe development will include the construction of Uniserve’s Super DC on the neighbouring 27 acre site. The building will be 40metres high and will include a bottling operation, general merchandise, chilled and frozen foods, clothing distribution and e-fulfilment operations.

Our project management team have installed a time lapse camera to pick up the site activity until completion, with a plan to post some short video content on our website after each successful phase.
