Sydney: Storms Impact Logistics

Storms lashed Sydney and neighbouring regions early Wednesday morning, causing flash floods that have brought transport and logistics to a standstill.
According to reports, within just two hours of the storm, Sydney had its average monthly rainfall.
There has been a significant impact to the logistics industry, as more than 50 flights were cancelled today and many local transport businesses have had to cancel or delay their services.
The storms may delay some air freight arrivals from Sydney this week and local deliveries of export orders. Uniserve are monitoring the situation closely through our regional general management team, for more information please contact your local Uniserve representative.
