Uniserve are looking to secure another Supply Chain Excellence Award win, for the second, consecutive year in a row.

2021 saw Uniserve winning the ‘Public Sector Supply Chain Excellence Award’ for their hard work and dedication to supporting the NHS, moving much needed PPE equipment around the globe during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Uniserve are shortlisted as finalists in 3 categories:

• The Healthcare & Pharmaceuticals Award
• The Warehouse Initiative Award
• The Customer Service Award (UniOcean)

This year, Uniserve’s work supporting the NHS during the COVID-19 pandemic received kudos once more, in recognition for their test kit program and the ingenious and innovative ways Uniserve moved masses of lateral flow testing kits, to include chartering aircraft, removing the seating, so the plane could be filled to maximum capacity with as many kits as possible.

Uniserve’s newly built FMDC (Felixstowe Mega Distribution Centre) project has also been shortlisted as a finalist, for the sheer scale and innovation of the project.

And finally, UniOcean (part of the Uniserve Group) have been shortlisted as a finalist for their UniOcean project, which was two years in the making and has seen the fastest, most reliable and cost effective freight route implemented between Asia, UK and Europe, harnessing leading IT solutions to ensure increased efficiencies and visibility.

Uniserve’s continued commitment shown to their customers and supply chains will hopefully see them announced as winners at the Supply Chain Excellence Awards ceremony on the 8th November, 2022.
