The date has now been confirmed for the largest sporting event in history, that’s Upminster Court history, as two fierce rivals prepare to meet in just twelve days time.

Uniserve Upminster will be hosting Uniserve Tilbury in a 7-aside football match for the inaugural ‘One World Cup‘.

The two local rivals have never faced each other before and both teams come into the game with impressive unbeaten records – played none, lost none.

Coopers in Upminster will be the venue with kick off at 7.30 pm on Monday 29th October.

Tensions are already rising between the two camps.

Upminster Coach and IT Platform Director – Stephen Davies – was first to comment “We have home advantage and I don’t see us losing our unbeaten record to Tilbury, we expect them to park the bus while we play all of the quality football”

Tilbury Coach and Sea Freight Director – Steve Ireland – replied in Keegan style “I’ll tell you, honestly, I will LOVE IT if we beat them. LOVE IT”
