Lunch With Rugby Legends

by | May 26, 2017

Uniserve recently hosted a small private lunch event for customers and suppliers to meet some of England’s rugby legends and to network to discuss global supply chain developments.

The lunch event was an open table discussion with some of the players from yesteryear; including Jeremy Guscott (ex Bath, England and British Lions centre), Matt Perry (ex Bath, England and British Lions full back), David Flatman (ex Bath and England prop) and Matt Powell (ex Saracens, Harlequins and Worcester scrum half).

The legends were very open and offered some interesting insight into the much anticipated British Lions tour of New Zealand. The tour commences next weekend with the first of six warm up games that lead up to the first test on the 24th June in Auckland.

The group collectively felt that the best of British would be well matched with the three time – and current – World Champions, and were very excited about the prospect of an enthralling three match series.

Uniserve are the UK’s leading independent logistics and trade management provider and we offer our own ‘British Lions’ service down-under, through our award-winning ocean and airfreight services to Australia and New Zealand.
