Uniserve Awarded Wholesale Distribution Authorisation

Uniserve have been awarded the specialist and much sought-after Wholesale Distribution Authorisation (WDA), making them one of the few logistic companies to hold the accreditation in the UK.
The accreditation, awarded by the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) recognises Uniserve as having the correct quality systems and processes in place for storing and distributing pharmaceuticals.
After a rigorous application process, Uniserve are now able to ensure that medicines reach patients where they are most urgently required, safely and within the specified time frames, whilst adhering to strict compliance procedures as set by the European Union’s Good Distribution Practice (GDP).
On receiving the accreditation, David Barry, Uniserve’s Director of Warehouse & Transport said “The Uniserve team worked tirelessly throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, driven by a shared empathy and moralistic calling to want to help. The WDA accreditation allows us to continue to fill that desire to want to give something back to the community as such, and now also gives us the opportunity to showcase our adaptability to meet urgent deadlines whilst adhering to the strictest of processes and procedures”.
Uniserve continue to be one of the fastest growing logistics companies in the UK and pride themselves on their ability to continually evolve to the markets ever changing demands.
