The Company is ISO9001 and FORS Silver accredited in the Chepstow Depot.
Originally set up by Transport for London, the FORS (Freight Operator’s Recognition Scheme) is a voluntary scheme designed to help Transport Operators improve and manage their operations in a safe and effective manner. The emphasis is on safe driving and consideration for vulnerable road users, especially cyclists and pedestrians. The scheme is voluntary at this time but is fast becoming The industry standard for Transport and Logistics operators and is recognised throughout the UK and beyond.
To support the FORS initiative and to gain formal approval for our new and revised business management system, UniUK has also gained the internationally recognised ISO9001 certificate for its operation in Chepstow. We have carried out a complete review of our business structure and working practices and have created new, improved company policies and working procedures. We have also carried out a review of our organisation structure to ensure that we have the right people in the right roles.
