The existing carriers within ‘THE Alliance’ have recently confirmed that HMM (Hyundai Merchant Marine) Line will become the fourth member to join its ranks from April 2020.

HMM have been established as a full member of the carrier alliance, which also includes Hapag Lloyd, Ocean Network Express (ONE) and Yang Ming.

The agreement, reached last month in Taipei, will see the four lines cooperating until at least 2030 and has been followed by the announcement that HMM have ordered twenty new vessels, which will be delivered between 2020 and 2021.
