Your daily update for Felixstowe, Southampton and London Gateway Ports, with the latest news on road and weather conditions, port turnaround times and vessel arrivals.
Felixstowe Port
Road – Slow traffic on A428 Cambridge Road Eastbound from Abbotsley Road to A1198 Ermine Street South (Caxton Gibbet roundabout). Slow traffic on A131 High Garrett both ways between A1017 Gosfield Road and B1053 Broad Road (Thistley Green roundabout).
Port – Port is operating well today. No issues to report.
Vessel – MSC Bari (Working), Seamax Fairfield (Working), Navarino (Working), JSP Rover (Working), Cosco Indonesia (Inbound), MSC Geneva (Inbound), Estelle Maersk (Inbound), MSC Diletta (Inbound), Volga Maersk (Inbound), Ever Genius (Inbound), Kota Lagu (Inbound), Delphis Finland (Inbound), Maersk Kleven (Inbound), MSC Alicante (Inbound).
Weather – No issues to report.
Southampton Port
Road – Restrictions due to major Smart Motorway Upgrade on M27 both ways between J4 (M3 Interchange) and J11 A27 (Fareham / Gosport). Four lanes are now operating between these junctions with a fixed 60mph limit in place whilst testing happens. Queueing traffic on A27 Chichester By-Pass Eastbound before A259 (Bognor Bridge Roundabout). Usual delays at this time of day. Further delays building on Bognor Road (A259). One lane closed due to stalled vehicle on A303 Eastbound from A3093 (Andover Walworth Park turn off) to The Street. Traffic is coping well. Slow traffic on M3 Northbound at J3 A322 (Lightwater / Bagshot).
Port – Port is currently closed due to heavy fog and the earliest VBS Bookings are from 16:00 Hours. Further operational information can be found here.
