Felixstowe Port
Road – A12 – Queueing traffic for five miles due to earlier accident, lorry and a car involved on A12 London bound before M25 J28 (Brentwood / Brook Street Roundabout). Congestion to J13 (Ingatestone). Lane two (of two) was closed. Travel time is 30 minutes.
M25 – Severe delays of 36 minutes and delays increasing on M25 clockwise between J29 A127 Southend Arterial Road (Romford / Basildon) and J31 A282 Canterbury Way (Lakeside / Purfleet). Average speed 5 mph.
Port – Slow turnaround due to congestion. The port came to a halt temporarily last night due to the wind.
Vessel – Cosco Harmony (Working), MSC Beryl (Working), Maersk Gairloch (Working), Vayenga Maersk (Working), Mette Maersk (Inbound), MSC Marta (Inbound), OOCL Germany (Inbound), Maersk Kingston (Inbound), Monte Azul (Inbound).
Weather – Weather warning in place for later this week due to high winds. This may affect port operations and the Orwell Bridge.
Southampton Port
Road – M25 – Severe delays of 20 minutes and delays easing on M25 anticlockwise between J14 A3113 Airport Way (Heathrow) and J11 A320 St Peters Way (Chertsey). Average speed 15 mph.
Port – Slow turnaround due to congestion. The port came to a halt temporarily last night due to the wind.
Vessel – CSAV Tyndall (Working), JSP Rider (Working), Conmar Najade (Working), Escape (Inbound), OOCL Montreal (Inbound), CMA CGM Bougainville (Inbound), MOL Treasure (Inbound), Independent Spirit (Inbound).
Weather – Weather warning in place for later this week due to high winds. This may affect port.
London Gateway Port
Road – M25 – Lane closed on entry ramp due to stalled car transporter on M25 clockwise at J30 A13 (Lakeside / Purfleet). Traffic is coping well. Lane one (of two) is closed on the slip road from the roundabout.
A13 – Severe delays of 15 to 20 minutes and delays increasing on A13 Westbound between A1089 (Tilbury / Baker Street Interchange) and M25 J30 (Lakeside / Purfleet). Average speed 10 mph.
Port – No issues reported at present.
